"Turboatom" carries out pre-commissioning of the first heat of the gas furnace
 OJSC "Turboatom" implements the second phase of the reconstruction of foundry. Today the equipment is functioning in commissioning mode, our specialists learn to work with various brands of steel.
In the production of parts of “Turboatom” uses casting of the 16 grades of steel and each of them require a certain mode.
The installation of new furnaces will significantly improve the quality of casting and heat treatment of environmental performance, reduced consumption of gas and electricity, as well as reduced production cycles.
Operation is fully automated, it allows for machining at low temperature regimes within 600 - 700 °C and 1200 °C. Capacity thermo reaches 30 t.
Currently, the thermo-treated body rims turbines K-500-65/300 to upgrade Russian nuclear power plants.
Heat treatment of details is required to obtain certain mechanical properties of casting, given the designer. The plans of OJSC “Turboatom” hold a tender for the modernization of the second furnace at the end of April.
