"Turboatom" put into operation the third turbine at HPP Thac Ba (Vietnam)
 In April 2011 at HPP Thac Ba completed commissioning of the last third hydraulic unit. After successfully conducted 72-hour load testing unit was transferred to the industrial development guarantee operation.
During the commissioning were tested cardinality, vibration characteristics, temperature and pressure under the cover of turbines. All control parameters correspond to the norms, as signed by the act.
According to the contract signed in 2009 by hydro unit No 3 HPP Thac Ba OJSC “Turboatom" implemented on an extended overhaul Kaplan turbine-type "Kaplan" a unit capacity of 37 MW and the runner with diameter 4, 5 m. After the reconstruction of hydro set the power increased to 41 MW.
This is the last third turbine, streamlined by “Turboatom”. Earlier, in 2006-2008, the company has been involved in major overhauls on the first and second hydro set HPP Thac Ba hydroelectric power station. Supply of hydraulic turbine equipment on HPP Thac Ba hydroelectric power station was completed in 1965, today the plant has reconstructed the three hydro turbines.
