“EMAlliance” participates in modernization of Serovskaya GRES
 JSC “EMAlliance” and Engineering Company JSC “Group E4” signed a contract for design, manufacture and delivery of a HRSG for a new unit of combined cycle plant-420 of Serovskaya GRES (an affiliate of JSC “OGK-2”).
The total price for works on the contract is more than RUR 1 billion. The delivery term of equipment is October, 2012. The current stock of orders of JSC “EMAlliance”, including this order, is more than RUR 48 billion.
Works on HRSG designing will be performed by the specialists of Engineering Center “EMAlliance – BSKBU KU” (Barnaul). Equipment on the project will be manufactured by the main manufacturing plant of JSC “EMAlliance” – PJSC TKZ “Krasny Kotelschik”.
Design and manufacture of HRSG will be performed within the framework of licensed contract between JSC “EMAlliance” and American company NOOTER/ERIKSEN, INC. It should be noted, that it will be the 17th HRSG to be delivered by “EMAlliance” under the present license, started from the contract signing.
The combined cycle plant with 420 MW at Serovskaya GRES is planned to be put in operation in 2013. For the present day, the installed capacity of the power station is 526 MW.
Putting in operation the new power generating unit at Serovskaya TPS is aimed at increasing the reliability in the plant operation in general. Equipment, created with usage of the latest engineering concepts, will increase the reliability of the HRSG operation significantly, avoiding overhauls, up to 40 years, and also will increase the efficiency of a power unit up to 60%.
It should be noted, that this typical scheme of the combined-cycle plant, consisting of gas and steam turbines by “Siemens” and 3 HRSGs by JSC “EMAlliance”, has been successfully implemented at Nyaganskaya TPS (with JSC “Group E4” as General Contractor), where the erection of equipment of the first of three new power units is completed.
