TNK-BP Will Hold a Meeting on Contracting Issues in Tyumen
 Continuation of the import substitution program will be the key theme of this meeting. Currently most of equipment and spare parts procured by TNK-BP Company enterprises are of Russian production.
Moreover, contracting for foreign equipment includes a search for options to maximize the share of domestic manufacturers of similar products.
The Steering Group that monitors the current TNK-BP contracting process has been in operation in Tyumen since 2009. The meetings are co-chaired by Alexander Moor, Deputy Governor of Tyumen Region, and Oleg Chemezov, Vice President of OJSC TNK-BP Management.
The TNK-BP Siberia Branch of the TNK-BP Company actively cooperates with the Tyumen Region government on issues related to support for local manufacturers, including mechanical engineering companies. Tyumen manufacturers actively participate in the Company’s tenders and their share in the total number of Russian suppliers grows every year.
