Under the agreement Air Total International will grant Gazpromneft-Aero full access to its network of airport facilities, including those for refuelling scheduled, one-off and unscheduled charter flights. This will expand Gazpromneft-Aero aircraft refuelling services into new routes in Europe, Asia-Pacific, Africa and the Middle East. The agreement also allows Air Total International to refuel partner airlines at Russian airports.
“The agreement with Air Total International allows us to significantly expand the geographic reach of Gazpromneft-Aero and offer airline partners convenient terms for
supplying fuel at hundreds of airports in Russian and abroad with just one contract. This will give us a major advantage when it comes to maintaining our leading position in the
competitive aviation fuel market in Russia,” said Vladimir Egorov, General Director of
Gazpromneft-Aero.
The chairman of Air Total International Momar Nguer added: “Air Total is a major supplier of aviation fuel in Africa and Europe. Adding Russian airports to the Air Total network is a great step forward for our company and will allow us to significantly expand the network of airports we can offer our clients.
