Kaiga NPP-4 (India) with the equipment of OJSC "Turboatom" gains power
Ongoing commissioning of the NPP Kaiga-4 in India. This is the latest fourth turbine to the contract signed with the National Nuclear Power Corporation of India in 2002.
According to with the contract OJSC "Turboatom" manufactured and delivered four turbines with unit capacity of 240 MW for Kaiga NPP-3, 4 and RAPP-5, 6.
Nuclear units Kaiga-4 was included in the grid and commissioned the first phase capacity of 75 MW (30 %). The next stage - developing 50% power and at the conclusion of the output turbine to the nominal power of 240 MW. After that guarantee tests will be held, and power unit will be put into commercial operation. All works will be completed before the end of January.
