"Turboatom" and "Enel OGK-5" have discussed prospects for cooperation
 OJSC "Turboatom" (Ukraine) was attended by representatives of power generating company OJSC "Enel OGK-5" (Russia). Familiarized with the work of the main workshops, with features and technology of production of turbines at the plant, the guests appreciated the productive capacity and technological level of the plant.
During the visit the sides held talks on cooperation in the field of power. In particular it was about participation "Turboatom" in upgrading equipment Reftinskaya TPP supplied by the plant in the late 60-ies According to the agreement the company will replace the five turbines K-300-240 rated at 300 MW turbine K-325-23,5 with an increase in unit capacity units of 25 MW, increasing efficiency and lifetime of the reactors.
To participate in the tender, scheduled for July this year, "Turboatom" would prepare a techno-commercial proposal.
Reftinskaya TPP (Sverdlovsk Region, Russia) - Russia's largest power station. Installed capacity of TPP is - 3800 MW. The plant has six turbines of 300 MW and four 500 MW turbines manufactured by “Turboatom”.
