"Turboatom" will supply equipment for the updating of TPP Novocherkassk
 OJSC "Turboatom" (Ukraine) has signed a contract to supply units of turbine upgrading for unit No 7 Novocherkassk TPP OGK-6 (Novocherkassk, Rostov Region, Russia). Under the contract "Turboatom" will make upgrading low-pressure cylinder (LPC) of steam turbine K-310-240 with capacity of 310 MW.
As a result of conducted works the power plant will receive an additional increase in power over 10 MW, will increase turbine efficiency and unit as a whole, improve the reliability of the operation of turbine, the life of the equipment will increase by 20-25 years. Change also and mark of the turbine K-310-240 in the K-325-23, 5 with capacity of 325 MW.
The scope of supply includes low-pressure rotor, inner casing and diaphragms LPC at all levels.
"Turboatom" has positive experience of reconstruction of the equipment on the unit No 7, early the plant edited cylinder high-pressure and confirmed to the customer all warranty performance.
Delivery time is 12 months from signing the contract and receiving the advance payment to the right of early delivery.
On all eight units of Novocherkassk TPP, beginning since 1965 are installed steam turbines with nominal capacity of 300 MW of OJSC “Turboatom” production.
