The holding will prospect uranium within Tarbaljei volcano-tectonic structure in the Daurian area with the potential of uranium ore deposits occurrence. The prospect is located in the Zabaykalsky Krai. Based on the research data the Rosgeologia’s specialists intend to reveal potential ore-bearing structures, to prove and contour P2 potential uranium resources totaling 20 thou. tons, and to recommend a program of further geological prospecting works.
The second contract provides for prospecting of latent and poorly exposed uranium mineralization of an unconformity type within the south-western margins of the Eastern Siberian platform in the Krasnoyarsk Krai, the Irkutsk Oblast and in the Republic of Buryatia. The geologists of the holding are going to identify the first-priority areas for exploration of latent and poorly expressed uranium deposits, to estimate P3 and P2 potential resources and to recommend a program of further geological prospecting works.
Both contracts were awarded by the Department of Subsoil Resource Management for the Central Siberian District.
The third Rosgeologia’s contract was signed with the Department of Subsoil Resource Management for the Far East Federal District. Pursuant to the document the specialists of the holding shall fulfill early geological and geophysical surveys in the Lower Bureya area of the Amur-Zeya depression that is prospective for discovery of hydrogenous uranium ore. The prospect is located in the Amur Oblast. The geologists are facing a task to reveal prospective ore structures for exploration of an “arenated” type of mineralization and to recommend a program of further geological prospecting works. The specialists of the holding intend to estimate and prove P2 and P3 potential resources totaling, respectively, 10 thou. tons and 40 thou. tons.
Execution of all the three contracts will commence in 2015 and will be completed by the end of 2017.
