E.ON SE New Strategy
 E.ON focuses on renewables, distribution networks, and customer solutions.
E.ON Group sets a new strategic course and changes business model, focusing on new energy market and customer service. E.ON’s activity will include three main areas, which are renewables (EC&R), electricity and gas distribution networks and customer solutions (sales, heat and distributed energy generation).
Conventional generation, global energy trading, as well as exploration and production will be carried out by a new independent company, a majority of which will be spun off to E.ON SE shareholders. The New Company’s subdivisions will deal with conventional energy generation (hydro, fossil, nuclear) in and outside Europe, energy trading, exploration and production. Russian assets belonged to E.ON SE - E.ON Russia, JSC will be transferred into the New Company, 15,5% into Nord Stream and 25% into the Yuzhno Russkoye field.
In 2015 E.ON will carry out all required preparations for placing the New Company’s shares on the stock exchange.
Both companies will obtain their own targeted strategies and appropriate financing that will allow them to remain reliable partners and liable participants in the energy market in future.
Due to the new business model E.ON will speed up the innovative technologies implementation process, as well as ensure supply security.
