Andrey Murov elected as the company’s head has held the position of the First Deputy Chairman of the Board of FGC UES JSC since June 2012. From late January to June 2012, he worked in the position of the Deputy Director General and was among top managers of Holding IDGC JSC. Before that, he occupied executive positions in aviation, construction and telecom companies.

“I would like to express my gratitude to our shareholders, customers, colleagues and partners for their support and confidence in me. It is my privilege and great responsibility, – said Andrey Murov, Chairman of the Board of FGC UES JSC, in his speech addressing company’s shareholders. – I believe that our principal task today is to enhance positive trends and ensure all possible conditions fostering company’s steady growth and development. I am confident that FGC is in the position to become one of the most successful industry players and come to a level of the best international mainline network companies. Our team and I personally will work hard to reach the set objectives”.

Over 9 months of the current year, FGC sales have grown 13% up to 114.7 bln roubles as compared with the same period of the previous year. Adjusted profit over this period – before interest, profit taxes and amortization – saw 12.1 % increase to reach 71.8 bln roubles. Besides, the company has 3 credit ratings: 2 of the highest category of the sovereign level ­– BBB with stable outlook by Standard and Poor’s and Fitch.

The company’s strategic growth model on the new stage will be based on the “3R principle” – “Rapid growth. Reality. Rationality”. Implementation of this principle in all the areas of company’s activities implies maximum retention of the scope of investment, feasibility of business development projects, optimization of investment and financial activities and operating expenses.

Company’s top priority is implementation of the Strategy for the development of the Russian electricity supply network approved by the Russian Government this spring and further increase in consumer appeal of company’s servicers.
