A new process unit for Diesel Fuel Hydrotreatment was set into operation at YANOS

JSC "Slavneft-YANOS" have received a permit for putting into operation the new Diesel Fuel Hydrotreatment unit with the capacity 1.5 MTA.

The unit is operating as per Prime D process and is aimed at receiving the product diesel fuel component with higher cetane number and also ultra low sulfur content (less than 10 ррm).

Process Licensor is Axens Company (France). The Detailed Contractor for this process is JSC "Neftekhimproject" (St.Petersburg) with JSC "Promkhimproject" (Yaroslavl) taking part in the design.

The General Contractor for the construction and installation works is JSC "Remindustriya". The construction of the unit was commissioned in 2010. The cost of this project comprised 6.3 billion rubles.

Putting the new Diesel Fuel Hydrotreatment unit into operation allowed to increase the production of Euro-5 diesel fuel on 4% and also to commence the fulfillment of the project on the revamp of one of the operating Diesel Fuel Hydrotreatment units for the dewaxing process. In future it will allow to increase the production of Diesel Fuel winter types.

The start-up of the new process unit is the next stage of fulfillment the program aimed at modernization of JSC "Slavneft-YANOS" production facilities. Large scale renovation of the Refinery allowed YANOS to be one of the first enterprises in Russia to transfer completely since July 1, 2012 to the production of motor fuels in compliance with Euro-5 requirements.

Within the period from 2013 until 2015 the total amount of 37.1 billion rubles is planned to spend on the development and technical revamp of the Refinery.
