At Kievskaya HPP being updated horizontal bulb turbines and installing a new runner and a wicket gate. The specialists of "Turboatom" created new high Kaplan runner with diameter of 6 meters with an updated blade system and equipped with new blades guide vanes with improved profile.
After the power reconstruction of hydro aggregate will increase from 19, 2 MW to 21 MW, efficiency will increase by 4%, and improve environmental safety and service life of the turbine.
This is the latest hydraulic system that modernized enterprise. Total for 15 years at Kievskaya HPP will modernize 20 aggregates with unit capacity 19 MW, start first held in 1998.
