The project will involve the comprehensive capital construction of the “Yamal Oil Pipeline System: Suzun –Tagul – Russkoe – Zapolyarnoe pipeline metering station”. For long-distance transportation of oil the line pipe will be built alongside the route facilities and metering station (Zapolyarnoe) in the vicinity of Transneft’s oil pumping station No.2. The work will be carried out over three winter seasons: 2012-13, 2013-14 and 2014-15.

Olga Malyshkina, TNK-BP Vice President, Supply Chain Management, notes: “This is one of the biggest infrastructure projects in the region and will be of great significance for the company’s future.
