 Shipment of individual condenser units has already begun. In January for Kalinin NPP turbine constructors shipped water chambers and the walls for two condensers.
January 31 was handed over to the customer control assembly of the four modules of the first body of the condenser, by the results of which the parties have signed the act of acceptance of equipment. After that the modules will passed welded of boards and tubes installation.
The following four modules are welded. Shipment of the first body on the plant is scheduled for February.
In 2011, "Turboatom" has mastered the production of a new generation of condenser with titanium tubes. This equipment is modular implementation. In contrast, the condenser for the execution of Kalinin NPP side, it consists of six bodies with eight units each. Consequently the replacement of the condenser the capacity of turbine on the plant will increase by more than 5 MW. Delivery time of equipment - June of this year.
