Arkhenergo having completed works aimed at modernization of the Plesetsk Cosmodrome energy system
 Arkhenergo branch of IDGC of the North-West, JSC has completed reconstruction of Substation No. 102 “A” at Mirny that supplies energy to the Plesetsk Cosmodrome, the only spaceport of this country.
Since December 27 of the previous year the substation has operated using new equipment. 2011 Investment Program allocated 218 mln RUR for the project implementation.
Within the framework of the substation reconstruction one replaced the 16 MVA power transformers and the 25 MVA transformers. The available capacities increase will enable eventual technological connection to Arkhenergo grids.
