"Turboatom" is continuing to develop energy-saving technologies
 In June 2011, at OJSC "Turboatom" started up a new installation YCD-100 100 kW, operating in the waste solid fuel (wood). The unit is designed for drying wood, which is used to make models of parts of turbines and power equipment packages.
Also, installation can be used to heating plant and other technological needs of the enterprise.
The introduction of new plant will reduce natural gas consumption by an average of 1000 m3 per day, reduce the drying cycle of wood and improve its quality.
According to the calculations of engineering services project will pay off within two months.
YCD-100 - is the development of a young engineer of “Turboatom” Volosnikov Alexander, who worked on this project about six months.
Similar units are planned to manufacture and install a repair shop building (No 69) and in the area of packaging assembly and test workshop (No 73).
Pattern shop specializes in making wooden patterns for the foundry industry: casting blades, vanes, bushings and body parts.
