 Since February 2010 design engineers of OJSC “Turboatom”, specialists SDB "Turbogidromash" exercise supervision and construction works on HPP La Jeska. There are currently installed hydropower embedded parts of the first and second units.
In the first concreted spiral chamber. On the second - spiral welded chamber, was prepared under the hydraulic and concreting. Next to begin installation, guide vanes, impellers and other mechanisms.
Representatives of “Turboatom” will be in Mexico before entering the units into operation. Start the first turbine is scheduled for August 2012, the second - in October 2012.
In accordance with the contract signed in 2008, “Turboatom" manufactured and supplied two turbines with built-in ring gate unit capacity of 380 MW.
HPP La Jeska - is being built underground station type on the Rio Grande in the state of Nayarit (Mexico). Especially under the two hydro units in the rocks dug pit length of about 250 m, width - 5, 5 m and a height of about 30m. With burnt technique was removed rocky ground. And before that, for passage of technology have made access tunnels of 20m wide and height of 10 m. The HPP will have a cone-shaped bulk dam height of about 200 m. The total nominal capacity of the plant is 750 MW.
