Participants of the meeting were representatives of design sister company of ОАО «Concern Rosenergoatom», JSC «Atomenergoproekt», JSC «NIAEP», JSC «StPAEP», ОАО «VNIIAES», ОАО «Head Institute «VNIPIET» and «Intergraph» Co.
At the meeting they discussed problems of adjustment and use of the program products SmartPlant Electrical (design and support of electrical distribution grids), SmartPlant 3D (complex system of 3D design of industrial projects), SmartPlant Foundation (management by technical information of industrial project).
Specialists of VVER Design Center submitted results of work carried out within frame of the project VVER-TOI for design of electrical distribution grids 10kV.
As for use of SmartPlant Electrical there was demonstrated a creation of unified cable catalogue and library of symbols of electrical facilities; principles of adjustment and preparation of various reports; formation and handover of an assignment on cable laying in SmartPlant 3D.
VVER Design Center representatives covered problems of development in SmartPlant 3D of unified catalogue of cable steel structures, as well as methods of layout implementation for cable structures and cable laying in the information model, etc.
Moreover, the meeting dealt with a variant of use of the calculation system for electrical grids when designing NPP. Design sister company of ОАО «Concern Rosenergoatom», which now, with involvement of the Department «Electric stations» of Moscow energy institute, conducts works for licensing the system of computer-aided design (SCAD) ЕТАР (Operation Technology, Inc.) in Russia, made a proposal on use of this software complex in realization of project VVER-TOI.
«Atomenergoproekt» specialists expressed their readiness to commence testing ЕТАР in order to use it then as a main calculation system for electrical grids when designing NPP.

JSC «Atomenergoproekt» applies successfully up-to-date technologies and world-wide experience for design and construction of NPPs based on use of complex information systems. At present «Atomenergoproekt» started works for creation of NPP information model based on Novovoronezh NPP-2. The purpose of the work — creation of unified information system that would include all massive of data on control of processes of design and construction of NPP power units based on use of complex information systems of modeling 3D-6D with further possibility of handover of collected information to an Operator.
The main task of VVER Design Center is creation of typical optimized and informative design of NPP power unit of greater capacity based on VVER (VVER-TOI) technology allowing to reduce costs for design, construction, operation, maintenance and decommissioning of power units. Specificity of the project VVER-TOI, which is development of the master project «AES-2006», consists in the fact that it is carried out initially in information medium.
