Caspian Pipeline Consortium: Working meetings held with Leaders of Kalmykia and Astrakhan Region
 A CPC delegation headed by Alexander Blagov, Deputy General Director, Russian Government Relations, made a working visit to the CPC Central Region. The delegation met with Alexei Orlov, the Leader of Kalmykia, and Konstantin Markelov, Astrakhan Region Deputy Governor.
The meetings included discussions of cooperation between CPC and the regions in course of the CPC Expansion Project. The regional leaders pointed out there was already constructive and mutually productive cooperation in place between CPC and the regions, so the Kalmykian and Astrakhan Regional leaderships were certainly interested in successful and sustainable development of their strategic partner of many years and ready to provide assistance in successful upgrades and construction of new CPC facilities.
The trip also included a formal ceremony where the CPC delegation joined Alexei Orlov, the Leader of Kalmykia, to deliver RUR 1M worth of musical, sports, computer and consumer equipment to the Republican Children's Creativity Centre in Elista. In his address at the event the Kalmykian Leader noted CPC's significant contribution to social and cultural development of Kalmykia's community.
