80 percent of the wires to be replaced during repair works in 2011, at a branch of IDGC North-West "Karelenergo”, will be replaced by self-supporting insulated conductors
 Volume of clearing of line routes will be increased to 1,635 hectares, 27 per cent more than the fact of 2010.
As part of the repair program 2011, 193 km of wire will be replaced . 159 km will be replaced by self-supporting insulated conductors , which showed, for the period of operation, the greater reliability in conditions of natural disasters and resistance to snow and falling trees.
Like last year, 2302 pillars will be replaced. Volume of clearing of line routes will be increased to 1,635 hectares, 27 per cent more than the fact of 2010.
15 circuit breakers 10 kV will be replaced by vacuum ones.
925 porcelain cylindrical post insulators in the switchgear of 35-110 kV substations will be replaced to polymer.
In transformer locations 10 / 0,4 kV, 12 power transformers will be replaced by sealed transformers.
Also, in the frames of the repair program will be organize maintenance of buildings and constructions, testing of substation’s grounding mats, the diagnosis of oil-filled equipment, maintenance and repair of motor vehicles.
