Rosenergoatom: results of Russian NPPs operation in January–June of 2010
 In January-June of 2010 operation of nuclear power plants of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC was safe and reliable.
Generation for 6 months of the current years is equal to 83 743.8 mln kWh or 107.8 % of generation for the same period of the previous year.
Among them: NPPs with VVER generated 43 490.7 mln kWh, NPPs with RBMK, BN and EGN – 40 253.1 mln kWh.
Thus, the NPPs executed the power generation balance of the Russian Federal Tariff service by 101.3 %.
Plant ratio increased as compared to the previous year by 5 % and was equal to 82 %.
At present 10 nuclear power plants of Russia operate 31 power units with installed capacity of 23 242 mW, among them 15 pressurized-water reactors (9 VVER-1000, 6 – VVER-440), 15 pressurized-tube boiling water reactors (11 RBMK–1000 and 4 EGP–6), 1 fast neutron reactor, one power unit is in pilot operation (RoNPP-2).
