TNK-BP Sells 2.5 Times More Fuel Via Exchanges in June
 TNK-BP sold 159,000 tonnes of petroleum products through exchange auctions in June, representing 18.7% of its total domestic fuel sales.
The company has thereby exceeded its exchange trading target by almost one quarter and beaten its May result by more than 2.5 times.
For the first half of 2010 as a whole, TNK-BP sold 468,000 tones of fuel via exchange mechanisms, amounting to 11.2% of all its fuel sales in Russia. Volume during April and May suffered from a sharp drop in export prices.
TNK-BP is currently selling products from all its refineries, including Lisichansk (LINIK, Ukraine), via exchanges. These are exclusively light petroleum products and are mostly sold in the European part of Russia.
TNK-BP is aiming to trade at least 20% of its fuel volumes via exchanges during 2010.
