“Novgorodenergo” has made the reconstruction of substation of rest house “Valday”
 Substation 35/10 kv “Rest house “Valday” has become the first facility put in commission in the general system of reconstruction of the rest house. The reconstruction of switchgear is made at the substation.
It makes it possible to increase capacity and reliability of power supply not only of the rest house but of the nearest population aggregates of Valday region with the relevant social infrastructure. The reconstruction cost of the substation has amounted to about RUR 50 million. The contractual commitments are executed in the framework of technological connection.
Chief engineer of branch of IDGC of North-West, JSC “Novgorodenergo” Igor Yakimov noted that high tempos of work under the reconstruction of substation “Rest house “Valday”, the execution of all the planned engineering decisions have become possible thanks to the efficient cooperation of the powermen with the municipal district’s authorities.
