Oil Production up 9.2% in May at TNK-BP’s Sorochinskneft
 May production at TNK-BP’s subsidiary Sorochinskneft equaled around 837,700 tons of oil, which is in line with the monthly business plan and 9.2% up on the same period last year.
Gas production was around 66.2 million cubic meters – an increase of 12.5% on May 2009. According to Aleksey Zhuravlev, head of Sorochinskneft’s central engineering and technical service, the production increase was achieved through commissioning new wells, well interventions and good work coordination.
