Pre-qualification proposals for Feasibility Study of the Trans-Caspian Project
 Consortium established by SOCAR and KMG-Transcaspian LLP (100% affiliate of KMG) invited interested companies to submit their pre-qualification proposals for the Feasibility Study of the Trans-Caspian Project.
The closing date for submissions is July 14, 2010. This is another important step towards the realization of the Trans-Caspian Project taken shortly after the meeting of the Presidents of SOCAR and Kazmunaygas in Baku on June 1, 2010.
Trans-Caspian System is intended for marine oil transportation from Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan across the Caspian Sea to the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan system and includes oil loading terminal on the Caspian shore of the Republic of Kazakhstan, tankers and ships, oil offloading terminal on the Caspian shore of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and connection facilities to the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan system.
