TATNEFT and KazMunaiGas Signed a Cooperation Roadmap

TATNEFT Company and JSC "KazMunayGas” National Company" signed a "Roadmap” to ensure the implementation of the PJSC TATNEFT’s advanced experience in the oil and gas industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The document was signed during the visit of N.U. Maganov, General Director of TATNEFT to Nur-Sultan Republic of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The document was signed by Nail Maganov, General Director of TATNEFT company and Alik Aidarbayev, Chairman of the Board of JSC "NC" KazMunayGas".

During the meeting the heads of the companies discussed the prospects of partnership, including the establishment of a joint venture in Kazakhstan.

The Roadmap includes options of cooperation in the supply of equipment, goods, oil field chemicals, software; partnership in the area of establishing water treatment facilities, provision of consulting services to improve the production system, as well as cooperation in the development of high-viscosity oil fields, development of mature fields and geological exploration.

Earlier, TATNEFT and JSC “KazMunayGas" National Company" had signed a Memorandum of Understanding to specify areas of cooperation in the field of geological exploration within the territory of Kazakhstan and Russia; organization of scientific and design engineering works in the field of crude oil production and field development, the introduction of new techniques and technologies of oil production and others. The Roadmap is a logical continuation of the two companies’ intention and specifies the main areas of cooperation.
