PA-B platform of Sakhalin Energy became Shell "Rig of the Year"
 Every year the Shell Group selects the "Rig of the Year" award. Piltun-Astokhskoye-B (PA-B) platform and its team won the Rig of the Year 2018 award out of 84 Shell rigs in total. This is a second year in a row that PA-B wins this top award.
The rating is based on the HSE performance, operational delivery against plan and people performance.
Moreover, on HSE performance three Sakhalin Energy rigs are number 1, 2 and 3 in Shell Platform Rigs league table, with Molikpaq (PA-A) being the first followed by Lunskoye-A (LUN-A) and Piltun-B (PA-B).
This is a fantastic result for Technical Directorate and the company, which recognises solid safety and operational performance across all Sakhalin Energy platforms.
