According to the contract, Inter RAO – Engineering LLC will provide a full range of services on a "turnkey basis" for overhaul of 210 MW Siddirganch TPP. The employees of Inter RAO – Engineering will ensure procurement of spare parts for the main and auxiliary equipment of the power generating unit, complete overhaul operations, commissioning tests and commissioning of the plant.

The equipment components to be delivered will be made primarily by Russian machine builders. The project implementation will allow substantial extension of the service life of Siddirganch TPP, while improving reliability of power supply for customers.

"Signing this contract confirms status of Inter RAO – Engineering LLC as a successful company in the market of Bangladesh, as well as confirms the company's expertise in the international market of engineering services", – said Yuri Sharov, General Director of Inter RAO – Engineering LLC.

At present, Inter RAO – Engineering has been operating in the People's Republic of Bangladesh, implementing the overhaul project on a "turnkey basis" for 210 MW Unit-5 of Ghorasal TPP. In 2015, the company signed a contract with JSC Atomstroyexport (a company of State Corporation "Rosatom") for the performance of preparative installation operations of top priority for Rooppur NPP in the Republic of Bangladesh. Under terms of this contract, the company has completed a full set of operations for installation and commissioning of the construction and installation base of the NPP.

Siddirganch TPP is situated in the central part of Bangladesh, 15 km east of Dhaka, the capital of the country. The plant is composed of one 210 MW BTG. Its main fuel is natural gas. The plant was commissioned in 2004.
