Certification Testing of Shaturskaya GRES CCGT-400 Power Unit Was Successfully Completed for the SPFC
 Successfully completed testing allows for participation of the power unit in the SPFC, and thus for maintaining the power system reliability for end consumers.
E.ON Russia Shaturskaya GRES acquired the certificate of compliance with Standard STO 59012820.27.100.004-2012 “Norms of Participation of Combined Cycle Gas Turbines in the Standardized Primary Frequency Control and Automatic Secondary Frequency and Active Power Transfer Control.” Shaturskaya GRES successfully completed certification testing for compliance of the power unit automatic control system performance when changing electric power input in primary control channels to assess the readiness of the power unit for participation in the Standardized Primary Frequency Control (SPFC).
The testing was performed in three stages: verification of devices connected to CCGT power automatic control system, simulation of the artificially created frequency disturbances in the network, testing of the real participation of the power unit in the Standardized Primary Frequency Control.
