The audit was carried out in frames of the Hanhikivi-1 nuclear power plant construction project on November 10-12, 2015. The audit was carried out for compliance to requirements of international standard ISO 9001:2008, IAEA regulations GS-R-3, and Finnish safety guides YVL to confirm that OKB Gidropress can implement the contract for construction of Hanhikivi-1 NPP (EPC contract) in part related to the reactor plant design.
 
Specialists of OKB Gidropress presented the assessment program information, documents produced in the course of the Hanhikivi-1 project, internal procedures and sample documents and quality records making the Hanhikivi-1 an example. They also demonstrated proofs of conformance to QMS.
 
Representatives of Fennovoima Oy noted the high degree of conformance with the assessment criteria, the improvements made to QMS after the previous assessment, the absence of issues and open positive approach to solving issues and positive result of the assessment on the whole, as well as they formulated further recommendations for improvement.
