As Vladimir Artemiev, Deputy General Director, Production Operations Director of JSC “Siberian Coal Energy Company” said, miners of "Primorskugol" are the first among the production units of the company to have fulfilled the coal production plan for 2015.

– During the year, the coal miners from Primorie steadily increased production and were ahead of schedule, - noted Vladimir Artemiev. Thus, open-pit administration office “Novoshakhtinskoe” - the largest enterprise of "Primorskugol" has achieved its year’s plan on coal excavation and shipment is already on August 16th.

In 2015, for the first time in 47 years of history of the development of the Pavlovsk brown coal field, the employees of the open coal mining enterprise overcame a record monthly target of 500,000 thousands and 1.5 million quarter level of coal production and shipment. The growth of production and sales is related to increased demand for coal from Russian energy companies.

As it was previously mentioned in an interview at the "Expert" magazine by SUEK's main owner, Andrei Melnichenko, "the company is actively developing production and coal washing in the Russian Far East and Eastern Siberia, which allows to increase sales at priority Asian markets at priority rates. At the same time, we invest into costoptimization of product delivery to the consumer.

At the time of becoming part of SUEK in 2003, production capacity at JSC "Primorskugol" was about 3.2 million tonnes. Since 2009 due to the successful implementation of the investment program the annual coal production and sales at the enterprises of the company has exceeded 5 million tons. During this time at the RU "Novoshakhtinskoye" technical re-equipment program has been conducted which increased fleet of heavy machinery; front shovel excavators on hydraulic backhoes were replaced, which reduced coal losses and stabilized mining operations. In addition, the company has implemented the technical solution to change the transport scheme of produced coal delivery to the point of coal wagons’ loading with conveyor belt H + E Logistik GmbH (Germany).

Equipment modernization at LLC "Vostochnoe Mine Administration" allowed overcoming the one-millionth milestone of coal production a year, to improve quality of domestic coal to export level and begin shipment of fuel to foreign consumers. To improve the quality of shipped coal the enterprise has a FGX-12 dry air enrichment set.
