Giprotruboprovod – General Designer of Transneft – obtained a favourable conclusion on the facility’s estimate cost checking.

The communication network is constructed to provide the process control for production and commercial activities of the operations services of the oil pipeline and divisions of Transneft, JSC system organizations (TSO). The designed network will be a part of the uniform communication network of Svyaztransneft, JSC.

Stage I provides for construction of optic cable offshoots from the main optic cable “FOCL Samara-Tikhoretsk - Novorossiysk” to the designed communications nodes, receivers of pigging and inspection systems, and control and monitoring stations of the Samara – Tikhoretsk - Novorossiysk Trunk Oil Product Department. Furthermore, telecommunications network will be installed at the facilities of pipe-end pump stations and booster pump stations, and dispatcher’s and party-line communication will be organized as well.

Sections of the fiber-optic communication line designed will be located near the trunk oil product pipeline and its on-site facilities.

Conclusion of the Russian State Expertise says that the cost estimate documentation on the facility “Project South Stage II. Construction of communication network for Volgograd-Tikhoretsk TOPP Stage I” complies with the current standards in the area of budgeting and pricing.
