The equipment was delivered from the pier to the construction site of the TANECO Oil Refining and Petrochemical Plants Complex using a catering vehicle. Two 400 tons capacity Liebherr cranes were involved in the lifting of 159 tons cascade reactor. The most difficult step was the installation of the equipment with the length of 52.48 m and diameter - 2.3 m, onto the 13.9 meters high concrete pedestal. The large-scale equipment lifting was performed in the normal mode and in accordance with the work execution plan developed and approved by the experts of the JSC TATNEFT's Construction Projects Department and  installation company OOO "NUM and C".

The platforming reactor is a main unit of the aromatics production complex, where the catalytic reforming process takes place. The reactor consists of four sections vertically arranged one over another. Its main purpose is obtaining high aromatic naphtha used as a high-octane component of commercial gasoline grades. Moreover, the reactor provides for producing raw material for yielding individual aromatic hydrocarbons. The design feed capacity of the unit will be 714,000 tons per year.

Delivery and installation of the column equipment has been completed at the construction site of the Complex's catalytic reforming and xylene fractionation sections for producing aromatic hydrocarbons. The installation of the reforming furnace, which is one of the key equipment pieces, is nearing completion. Earlier, the experts had fully completed the construction and installation works at the continuous catalyst regeneration unit.
