Under opinion of NNEGC "Energoatom" Yuriy Nedashkovskiy, signing of agreement is confirmation of conversion form discussion of import substitution program in Nuclear Sector to its substantial implementation. "Unfortunately nowadays under objective reasons related to political and economical conditions in country we can not implement all plans. Luckily this does not apply to import substitution program, which was started in summer by Prime-Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk. This program really implements and agreement concluded today by "Energoatom" and "Turboatom" is a real step in strengthen of Energy Safety of Ukraine", - emphasized president of "Energoatom". "Present Contract – is the first step in direction of expansion of cooperation with "Turboatom". We hope powerful enterprise took active part in construction of new Nuclear Power Units not only as one of the bests manufacturers of turbine island equipment, but as potential manufacturer of casings for new reactors of Ukrainian NPPs", - emphasized Yuriy Nedashkovskiy.

In turn General Director of OJSC "Turboatom" Victor Subbotin noted that signing of agreement with "Energoatom" is a symbolic event for enterprise. "Today we sign specific agreement for supply of complicated and high-tech equipment for Ukrainian NPPs. This is the first and hope not last agreement for manufacturing and supply of similar equipment. Now we work over new titanium blades for turbines, work out technology of manufacture of components for dry storage facility for spent fuel at Zaporozhskaya NPP. "Turboatom" ready to join to new projects in Nuclear Power Sector among which, possibly, manufacturing of reactor casings", - said V. Subbotin.

Remind, in August 2014 OJSC "Turboatom" jointly with NNEGC "Energoatom" and SE plant "Electrotyazhmash" and SE "Plant named after V. A. Malishev" agreed about implementation of import substitution program at NPPs of Ukraine. So, next step will be conclusion within the next few days General Agreement about manufacturing-technical cooperation for providing of needs on manufacturing of spare parts and high-tech equipment for Ukrainian NPPs.

Particularly, OJSC "Turboatom" expressed readiness to provide supply of turbine equipment for NPPs of Ukraine. Besides of supply of condenser for SUNPP expected supply of condenser for Zaporozhskaya and Rovenskaya Plants; new blades of high-strength titanium alloy and other spare parts for turbines of operating Units of Ukrainian NPPs. Manufacturing of this equipment and components under order of Energoatom was mastered during last years. Biggest part of this equipment previously manufactured in Russia. Particularly heretofore supply of blades for turbounits ТVV-1000-2U3 with turbines type К-1000-60/3000, operated at 5 Units VVER-1000 of Ukrainian NPPs, engaged just foreign companies selling products of JSC "Power Machines" (Leningrad Metal Plant (LMZ) г. Saint-Petersburg, Russian Federation.
