Equipment of OJSC “Turboatom” worked 30 years at Yuzhno-Ukrainskaya NPP
 In January 2015 is 30 years form day of commissioning of million-kilowatt turbine К-1000-60/1500, manufactured by OJSC “Turboatom” for Unit No 2 Yuzhno-Ukrainskaya NPP.
In 1980-1983 plant supplied to Power Plant two steam turbines with unit capacity 1000 MW.
Prolongation of operation life of Unit No 2 nowadays is the main task for YU NPP. For implementation of these plans “Turboatom” will manufacture and supply condenser of block-module type with piping system of stainless steel for the purpose of change of condenser with copper-nickel alloy pipes.
Under information from YU NPP for 30 years Unit No 2 generate 173 billion kilowatt-hours. For generating of similar energy it will be necessary to burn 64 millions ton of coal or 49 billions cubic meters of natural gas.
