Voimaosakeyhtiö SF increases its ownership of Fennovoima
 The current shareholders of Voimaosakeyhtiö SF increase their share of the ownership of Fennovoima. Sallila Energia and Keravan Energia both increase their ownership by five megawatts.
Voimaosakeyhtiö SF owns 66 percent of Fennovoima. Currently reserved of this share is 55.5 percent.
Voimaosakeyhtiö SF will continue negotiations with current and possible new owners. Their objective is to keep the ownership of Fennovoima in the current 66 percent. The Government has set a condition that the domestic ownership must be at least 60 percent when Fennovoima will submit the construction license application by the end of June 2015.
Fennovoima’s other main owner with a 34 percent minority share is Rosatom’s Finnish subsidiary RAOS Voima. According to the agreed schedule, the electricity production of the power plant will begin in 2024.
