Gazprom sets up Department of Stock Exchange Operations
 Gazprom set up the Department of Stock Exchange Operations to be headed by Pyotr Volkov.
The Department will be in charge of matters related to increasing Gazprom's natural gas sales at the stock hubs as well as take part in arranging stock trades and improve trading mechanisms.
Pyotr Volkov was born in Yaroslavl in 1972. He graduated from Institute of Cryptography, Telecommunications and Computer Science, majoring in Computer Systems and Assemblies Command in 1994.
Between 2007 and 2010 he was Deputy Director General, Director General of Sibneft-Yaroslavnefteprodukt (Gazprom Neft).
From 2010 to 2012 Pyotr Volkov acted as Department Head at the Regional Trade Directorate of Gazprom Neft.
From 2012 to 2014 he was Director General of Gazprom (U.K.) Limited.
