Minister of Energy Visited Ignalina NPP
 Minister of Energy Jaroslav Neverovič visited SE Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant (INPP), where he met with the Management of the Enterprise and discussed over the Ignalina NPP decommissioning projects implementation and decommissioning planning and management improvement issues.
During the meeting, INPP Director General Darius Janulevičius presented the progress reached in the resolution of main decommissioning projects problematic issues, scopes of dismantling activities and processes of project management and planning. The special attention was paid to the Enterprise’s activities optimization, strengthening of abilities to implement decommissioning projects and management efficiency improvement issues.
Minister of Energy has visited the old Interim Spent Fuel Storage Facility, where spent fuel is stored in special casks, moreover he visited B1 (Interim Spent Fuel Storage Facility) and B2/3/4 (Solid Waste Management and Storage Facility) projects construction site, where he got familiar with the projects implementation.
