New technique of hydraulic fracturing is being tested in Belarus at Vishanskoe field
 According to an expert opinion, the new technology will help Belarusian oilmen to get a better idea on the results of hydraulic fracturing, reduce the risks while doing it, optimize field development, and make EOR operations more efficient.
First pilot tests were done at this field at the beginning of this year. Onshore seismic research was conducted then during the process of fracking. Now one more research is being done to assess the efficiency and integrity of the obtained data. Unlike previous operations, the specialists applied radial recording system allowing expanding seismic waves recording area by seismic receivers.
The tests involve several company subdivisions: well cementing department, specialists of the departments of well logging and field seismic operations, and BelNIPIneft R&D institute.
