The Memorandum of Understanding signed between Rosatom – CICE&T and Lahti Region Educational Consortium Joint Authority
 In the Embassy of Finland in Moscow Rosatom – CICE&T and Lahti Region Educational Consortium Joint Authority (Consortium) signed the Memorandum of Understanding.
The main objective of cooperation is to reduce risks of failure of NPP construction timelines associated with issues of cross-cultural communications and qualification of local contractors.
The primary goals of cooperation are training of Russian specialists in specificity of the Finnish construction standards , specifics of cross-cultural communication issues taking into account lessons learned from Olkiluoto NPP construction and training of local contractors in basics of WWER technologies in provision of new Hanhikivi NPP construction.
The representatives of ROSATOM’s Department of International Cooperation, JSC Rusatom Overseas and Rosatom – CICE&T participated in signing ceremony from Russian side. From the Finnish side - Mrs. P.Lajne and Mr. P.Kotilajnen (Embassy of Finland ) Mr. H.Nieminen and Mr. I.Uretsky (Lahti Region Educational Consortium Joint Authority).
