The celebration’s attendees, made up of TENEX’s staff and business partners, were treated to a congratulatory speech from the General Director of State Corporation Rosatom, Sergei Kiriyenko. Rosatom’s chief praised the outstanding professionalism of TENEX’s team – people who throughout the Company’s history have always taken on “the most challenging, breakthrough, and important of projects”. Mr Kiriyenko noted that today TENEX is a genuinely global company – the one that did not just open the world’s market for Russian uranium products but has also accomplished a number of projects to consolidate and reinstate state control over the assets critically important for the industry, including the enterprises manufacturing gas centrifuges and carbon fibre. Sergei Kiriyenko wished TENEX’s team further achievements in the future and expressed confidence that they will successfully complete a lot of other ambitious projects.

In the run-up to TENEX’s 50th anniversary, its accomplishments were recognised with a high award – a Certificate of Honour from the Government of the Russian Federation. Accepting the award, TENEX’s General Director Lyudmila Zalimskaya thanked the company’s current staff and former employees for their many years of dedicated work and extended her appreciation to the industry’s management and TENEX’s Russian and foreign partners for their support and constructive attitude.

In addition, Ms Zalimskaya emphasised that being part of the Russian nuclear industry has always been and is the fundamental condition that allows TENEX to carry on its tradition of taking the lead in promoting hi-tech Russian products to the global market.
