JSC TVEL/JSC CMP qualified as a supplier of pressure tubes for CANDU reactors
 The Canadian company Candu Energy Inc. with support from Atomic Energy of Canada Limited (AECL) successfully completed qualification of JSC TVEL/JSC CMP as the supplier of pressure tubes for CANDU reactors.
The positive result achieved after several years of thorough work will enable the Fuel Company of ROSATOM TVEL to bid for supply of such tubes to customers in Canada, Romania, Argentina, South Korea and Chine, as well as other countries where new CANDU reactors are planned to build.
JSC TVEL views the project on the development and successful qualification of the new product for the western design reactors, as well as subsequent commercial deliveries, as a priority.
