Russian Grids JSC and Management Company of the Russian Direct Investment Fund have entered into a Memorandum of Co-operation
 Russian Grids JSC and Management Company of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (MC RDIF) entered into a Memorandum of Co-operation at St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2013.
The document was signed by Director General of Russian Grids JSC Oleg Budargin and Director General of MC RDIF Kirill Dmitriev.
The agreement is aimed at development of long-term co-operation and pooling of efforts to promote favorable conditions for attraction of investments, including foreign ones, to the Russian power grid complex. Within the framework of the agreement, Russian Grids and MC RDIF will consider alternative ways to arrange financing of the investment company of Russian Grids Group of companies subject to assurance of the maximum return on investment for the Group and MC RDIF, including with the mechanisms of private-public partnership, conduct assessment and complex analysis of project risks, consider possibilities for the development of regulatory and methodical framework to enhance investment appeal of long-term infrastructure projects of the industry.
