Technopromexport will send up to 50 specialists to work on unit №3 of the TPP. All works will be carried out under the Contract for 2013-2014 Technical Assistance signed with the SPE. The contract includes complete overhaul of the turbine, generator, and electrical equipment including the power transformers.

Technopromexport has performed repair of the generator hydrogen cooling system in unit № 1 of the "Jijel" TPP, and eliminated turbine vibration in unit №2. As a result, reliability of performance of the TPP turbine generators has significantly increased, and the economic efficiency indicators of the power generating units have improved too. On February 27, 2013 unit № 1 was included in the power grid, and the unit is working under full load at the 200-MW rating.

In addition, in the near future, the company intends to send a delegation of experts to Algeria to discuss future cooperation in proposed modernization and expansion of the "Jijel" power plant. Technopromexport has been cooperating with the Algerian power engineering industry from early 70-ies, and during this period Technopromexport has built the "Jijel" and "Annaba" TPPs with a total capacity of 685 MW. Algerian experts have repeatedly praised high efficiency of the power facilities built by Technopromexport.
