TNK-BP Produces first oil at the Novo-Fyodorovskoe Field in Orenburg Region

TNK-BP acquired the license for this field in the Abdulinsky District of the Orenburg Region in 2010. The works performed by the company in this field in 2011 include re-entry of wells drilled in 1990, construction of power transmission lines, as well as construction and commissioning of a 32-km-long oil pipeline, which is to be used for transportation of oil fr om the field.

According to Igor Kristyan, General Director of LLC Buguruslanneft, a multiphase pump station and an automated group metering unit will be set up in the field in 2012. “Our near-term plans include drilling 8 wells and considerably increasing oil production in the Novo-Fyodorovskoe field,” he said.
