Test activities were started on the 2nd string of the Bovanenkovo – Ukhta gas pipeline

The works are performed by JSC «Lengazspetsstroy», the subcontractor of LLC «SGM». The customer of the construction project is JSC «Yamalgazinvest».

Tests are performed on the "km 57.9 – km 88.4" portion. The whole package of installation and construction works has been completed within 3 month. Welding works were performed by means of automatic welding machine CRC EVANS.

Following the completion of the main trials there will be performed drying and nitrogen hardening of the portion as well as its tie-in into the active gas pipeline.

The total length of the gas pipeline, which has to be constructed by LLC «STROYGAZMONTAZH» within 2nd string of the Bovanenkovo – Ukhta trunk gas pipeline, is 197 km.
