“Turboatom” delivered to customer equipment for Ekibastuz SDPP-1

January 2015 on test bench was assembled Medium Pressure Cylinder (MPC) with rotor and diaphragm for turbine К-540. In presence of customer equipment passed comprehensive tests under result of which Acceptance certificate was signed. Then, MPC and auxiliary equipment will be transferred for packing and provided for shipment.

Previously at the end of 2014 specialists of enterprise manufactured and delivered to customer High Pressure Cylinder (HPC) and Low Pressure Cylinders (LPC-1, LPC-2) with rotors and parts of turbine.

Finish supply of equipment for Power Plant planned for March 2015.

At Unit No 1 Ekibastuz SDPP-1 is implementing modernization of turbine К-500-240-2 with capacity 500 MW. In accordance with the contract, signed in December 2012 “Turboatom” supply turbine with capacity 540 MW with its installation of existing foundation. As result of rehabilitation capacity of unit will increase on 40 MW, lifetime will be prolonged on 25 – 30 years. This is the second unit modernized by “Turboatom”.

Commissioning of Unit planned on 2015.
