Igor Sechin and Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District Governor Discussed Cooperation

The parties discussed a wide range of issues regarding Rosneft activities within the territory of Yugra, and cooperation between the Company and the regional government while solving social issues of the region.

Considering increasing presence of the Company in the region, the parties agreed upon the expansion of cooperation in strategic areas of activity.

For the purpose of the realization of the Cooperation Agreement between the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District-Yugra government and Rosneft, signed this May, Igor Sechin and Natalia Komarova signed an additional agreement, which provides for development of financing of social infrastructure for municipal formations, including governmental programs of the region with regard to education, public health service, housing construction, etc. The document also provides for financing of social and charity events, which supports sports, culture, ecology, and youth policy.

The meeting also addressed the issue of potential support from Rosneft towards the non-profit partnership Gas Processing Cluster of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District-Yugra.

Igor Sechin and Natalia Komarova noted that Yugra is one of the key regions for Rosneft, and that meetings between the Company executives and the regional government will be held regularly.
