Power Machines is the only Russian company licensed to design and manufacture high-speed and low-speed turbines for NPP applications

Power Machines have successfully completed all necessary procedures to obtain licenses for designing and manufacturing NPP equipment.

The set of application documents was highly assessed by an independent expert panel and fully demonstrated the company’s capabilities in management, human resources, design and technology, needed to develop and manufacture a wide range of products.

Licenses have been issued for a 10-year period, which is unprecedented for Russian companies that supply long-lead power equipment.

The obtained licenses confirm the high quality and security of the equipment manufactured by Power Machines and supplied to Russian NPPs, and are an extra advantage for the company when considered as a potential supplier for foreign projects.

Previous licenses expired on 26 July 2014.
